Press Freedom Index 2009
This annual report is published by Reporters without Borders and it
discusses freedom of the press in countries the world over.
World
Development Indicators 2009
The World Development Indicators (WDI) 2009 is the statistical
benchmark that helps measure the progress of development. The WDI
provides a comprehensive overview of development drawing on data from
the World Bank and more than 30 partners.

Report
on International Religious Freedom
The International Religious Freedom report is submitted to Congress
annually by the Department of State in compliance with Section 102(b)
of the International Religious Freedom Act (IRFA) of 1998. This report
supplements the most recent Human Rights Reports by providing
additional detailed information with respect to matters involving
international religious freedom. It includes individual country
chapters on the status of religious freedom worldwide.

of Freedom in the World
The Freedom in the World 2009 survey contains reports on 193
countries and 16 related and disputed territories. Each country report
begins with a section containing the following information: population,
capital, political rights (numerical rating), civil liberties
(numerical rating), status (Free, Partly Free, or Not Free), and a
10-year ratings timeline. Each territory report begins with a section
containing the same information, except for capital. The population
figures are drawn primarily from the 2008 World Population Data Sheet
of the Population Reference Bureau..
ICT
Eye
ITU, the UN specialized agency for telecommunications, has its
"eye" on ICTs and is recognized around the globe as the leading
provider of timely and comprehensive telecommunication/ICT statistics
and trends.
The ICT "eye" website is a one stop-shop for ICT information and
provides telecommunication/ICT indicators and statistics, regulatory
and policy profiles, national tariff policies and scientific
institutions.
An index published
by the Wall
Street Journal / Heritage Foundation publication, that measures and
ranks 161
countries across 10 specific freedoms, things like tax rates and
property
rights.
The annual World
Development
Report published by the World Bank and the theme for Year 2008 was Agriculture for Development.
