This section briefly examines sample Knowledge Management courses and curricula at colleges and universities in the US and overseas. For the primary sample, we used the web to research the offerings of the US business schools and engineering schools.

Engineering Schools
Table 2 shows a similar array for the leading engineering schools, indicating that almost half have offered KM-related courses to their graduate students. The Computer Science faculty generally provides these courses, which frequently, if not always, focus on database systems, data mining, and knowledge-based systems.
